Mellerud Plast is founded and becomes one of the first companies in Sweden to produce blow-molded bottles and canisters.
We move to our current address on Industrigatan 6 in Mellerud.
Our first sports bottle is launched on the market.
Herenco acquires the company and sets the stage for stability in the long term. We have annual sales of approximately SEK 35 million.
Emballator becomes the group name for Herenco´s various packaging companies. Emballator Mellerud Plast becomes quality-certified according to ISO 9001.
We take over the blow molding department from sister company Emballator Lagan Plast. All blow molding within Emballator is now located in Mellerud. Our manufacturing facilities are extended to accommodate rising production volumes.
The company gets certification according to ISO 14001.
Sales pass the SEK 100 million mark.
The decision is made to acquire Frantek Formblåsning AB in Gålsjö just outside Askersund, and at the same time extend the factory in Mellerud further.
We take over the operations of Frantek Formblåsning AB, which are moved to Mellerud and we extend the facility by nearly 4,000 square meters. Sales now amount to around SEK 170 million and we have close to 70 employees.
We invest in the latest screen printing technology and can now offer our customers a market-leading solution for printed products. At the same time, we are extending the facility and creating a Print-Shop concept to further strengthen our customer offering.
In 1983 Emballator Mellerud Plast launched its first sports bottle and has since been the leading manufacturer of sports bottles on the Nordic market. Now we take the next step in the development of our sports bottles and introduce Emballator Lifestyle. Emballator Lifestyle is a marketing and development company with a clear vision to create sustainable added value for our customers through high market presence and expertise. Our sports bottles will, of course, continue to be produced by Emballator Mellerud Plast.
